Armotab 50/150 Tablet is used in the treatment of excessive daytime sleepiness (narcolepsy). It improves wakefulness and helps you to stay awake, and reduces the tendency to fall asleep during the day, thus restoring the normal sleep cycle.
Armotab 50/150 Tablet may be taken with or without food. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level in the blood. If you miss any doses, take them as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. This medication mustn’t be stopped suddenly as it may worsen your symptoms.
Some common side effects of this medicine include headache, nausea, and insomnia (difficulty sleeping). It even causes dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. However, these side effects are temporary and usually resolve on their own in some time. Please consult your doctor if these do not subside or bother you.

What if you forget to take Armotab Tablet?

Taking Armotab with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects
Diazepam (Oral Route) Severe
Watch out for symptoms of Diazepam side effects such as tremors, fever, sleepiness, dizziness, dry mouth or nausea, and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust or discontinue the doses if required. Armodafinil may raise blood levels of Diazepam.

Ulipristal acetate (Oral Route) Severe
Do not consume Ulipristal acetate with Armodafinil. If Ulipristal acetate is essential, ensure a gap of at least 4 weeks after discontinuing Armodafinil. Please consult your doctor. Armodafinil may reduce the efficacy of Ulipristal acetate.
Diazepam (Injection Route) Severe
Watch out for symptoms of Diazepam side effects such as tremors, fever, sleepiness, dizziness, dry mouth or nausea, and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust or discontinue the doses if required. Armodafinil may raise blood levels of Diazepam.
Warfarin (Oral Route) Moderate
Your doctor may frequently monitor the prothrombin time or your blood clotting time. Warfarin may reduce blood levels of Armodafinil.
